Storage Hoppers
Cabragh Engineering presents uniquely designed storage hoppers, offering custom solutions with a range of capacities from small to large volumes. Our modular heavy-duty support framework features RSJ uprights with bracing, tailored to accommodate various sizes of storage hoppers and blending plants. These hoppers and blending plants are equipped with helmet design-type discharge doors or belt feeders, catering to applications involving sand, cement, peat, coal, woodchips, and other materials in the concrete quarry recycling industries.
In adherence to safety standards, health and safety guarding, including safety grids on top of bins, is incorporated. Our storage hoppers are shot blasted and painted to environmental standards, featuring a tapered design for the free flow of materials and the option for electric/air vibration facilitation. Liner plates, available in mild steel, hard-wearing polyurethane, or Hardox, are bolted for ease of maintenance.
The full range of hoppers is meticulously designed with discharge systems to minimize spillage, serving the concrete, quarry, coal, and recycling sectors. In addition, Cabragh Engineering provides a comprehensive selection of hoppers with infeed incline chutes and discharge chutes, all tailored to suit various material applications.

Vertical Storage Silos
The silo system by Cabragh Engineering is characterized by a modular heavy-duty support framework with RSJ uprights and bracing, providing robust support for cylindrical and cone sections. Equipped with environmental dust filters and hi/lo-level alarm indicators, the silo ensures optimal functionality. The system features one or two outlets with flanges suitable for screw conveyor connections, a fill pipe with a bell end, a manual butterfly valve, and a safety pressure lid with manhole maintenance access. Galvanized access safety ladders, landing if required, and handrails with safety kick rails surround the silo top for secure access. The silo undergoes shot blasting and painting to meet environmental standards, complemented by a pinch valve for the fill pipe. Additionally, aeration nozzle facilities on the tapered cone section facilitate material flow, and a rubber sock is incorporated for the outfeed of the screw conveyor. This comprehensive silo system underscores Cabragh Engineering’s commitment to precision, safety, and efficient material handling solutions.
Low level cement, PFA, or lime storage silos.
The storage solution by Cabragh Engineering boasts a robust steel structure design with a 50-tonne storage capacity, ensuring durability and ample storage for various materials. Equipped with environmental features such as a Wam dust filter, a hi-level alarm indicator with an extension rod, a safety pressure lid, and a pinch valve for the fill pipe, the silo prioritizes functionality and safety. It features a discharge outlet with a flange to suit a Wam screw conveyor, a fill pipe with a bell end, and an access manhole lid on top for convenient maintenance. The safety ladder, handrail, and safety kick rail, all galvanized, surround the silo top, providing secure access. Additional components include a transfer screw conveyor with a rubber sock, support for the transfer screw conveyor, a V trough screw conveyor flange mounted on the bottom of the silo, and a silo safety control panel. Aeration nozzles are strategically placed on the tapered lower section to facilitate material flow. Both the silo and screw conveyor undergo shot blasting and painting to meet environmental standards. With an estimated delivery time of 4-6 weeks, Cabragh Engineering ensures a comprehensive and efficient solution for material storage and handling needs.
